Often people caring for someone in their home find themselves wanting to know more about how to care for them. These interactive sessions have been designed to help build knowledge.
Topics include:
- Hospice and palliative care services and resources
- The circle of care
- Riding the emotional roller coaster
- Practical/family matters
- Life after your loved one’s death
This programme is run in two parts over consecutive weeks.
Any family, whānau or friends involved in the care of a person under the care of Hospice are welcome to join the programme.
April 2024 – Thursday 4th & 11th – 1.00pm – 4.00pm
July 2024 – Thursday 18th & 25th – 1.00pm – 4.00pm
October 2024 – Thursday 17th & 24th – 1.00pm – 4.00pm
