Ngā Mātāpono O Te Manaaki Wairua - Foundations of Spiritual Care

This workshop is aimed at improving your understanding and knowledge of spirituality and spiritual care.

This workshop is designed to enhance your understanding and knowledge of spirituality and spiritual care.

Healthcare professionals must be mindful of the critical role spiritual wellness plays in quality of life, and the role in caring for

that aspect of a patient and their family and whānau.

This learning resource is not an attempt to define spirituality – the intention is to encourage people to think about their own

spirit, what they bring from experience and belief, and how that might impact, translate, and affect the care they provide.

Cost: Free of charge.  Please bring your lunch with you.

Numbers are limited

Queries: Please contact our Clinical Administrator at info@rotoruahospice.co.nz or phone 07 343 6591 to confirm whether this education session is currently running and to receive further information.

This is Martine's story

I really benefit from the coffee mornings. We don’t talk about our cancer or our illness – although we did at the start – we talk about everything. I really enjoy it.
