Palliative Care for Health Care Assistants

Key principles, practical knowledge and skills of palliative care for caregivers

This is an education programme specifically designed to provide Health Care Assistants with key principles, practical knowledge and skills of palliative care.

The course is usually held once a year and consists of four workshops, each workshop is approximately two to four hours long.

The topics covered are:

Location: Rotorua Community Hospice, 1469 Hinemoa Street, Rotorua (face to face education session).

Date: 9.00am – 4.00pm Thursday 28 July 2022 (fully booked)

Date: 9.00am – 4.00pm Wednesday 30 November 2022 (bookings now open)

Cost: Free of charge
