For the past 9 years, Craigs Investment Partners has been organising the Hospice Golf Classic. They donate their time, resources and a knack for knowing a few people around town to bring this event together to support Rotorua Community Hospice. The event has grown each year and on Friday 9th November, thirty-two teams of four took to the green and sent the fundraising total above $100,000 over the ten year period.
Chief Executive at Rotorua Hospice, Jonathon Hagger said “It was fantastic to see so many people teeing off for Rotorua Hospice and the funds raised help support over 420 patients in Hospice care each year. It was a fun day on the course, the rain held off and everyone got into the spirt of the day”.
Craigs Investment Partners chief organiser, James Twist was thrilled with the turnout “A big thank you to all players and especially the businesses and individuals that donated prizes, auction items, the raffle item plus the hole sponsors all of which without their support we simply would not be able to hold the event”.
As well as an 18 round hole of golf, entrants were treated to a light supper, charity auction and some great team prizes.
Craigs Investment Partners and Rotorua Hospice wish to thank all the participants, sponsors and donors who helped to make the event possible.
