For the past 10 years, Craigs Investment Partners has been organising the Hospice Golf Classic. They donate their time, resources and a knack for knowing people around town to bring this event together to support Rotorua Community Hospice. The event has grown each year and on Friday 13th November, 22 teams of four took to the green and sent the fundraising total above $140,000 over the ten year period.
Rotorua Hospice Chief Executive, Jonathon Hagger said “It was fantastic to see so many people teeing off for Rotorua Hospice, the funds raised help support over 420 patients in Hospice care each year. It was a fun day on the course and everyone got into the spirit of the day”.
The team from Craigs Investment Partners, James Twist and Paul Stewart were thrilled with the turnout. Stewart told us “We’re always amazed by the support we get from the local community. We may be the ones organising the event, but they make it happen and we are incredible grateful for the support”.
A big thank you to all players and especially the businesses and individuals that donated prizes, auction items, the raffle items plus the hole sponsors all of which without their support we simply would not be able to hold the event”.
As well as an 18 hole round of golf, entrants were treated to a post event BBQ, charity auction and some great prizes.
Craigs Investment Partners and Rotorua Hospice wish to thank all the participants, sponsors and donors who helped to make the event possible.
